Amy was raised in Northfield, MN and was in love with design and space as a youngster. She was moving furniture around by age nine and fully renovated her first home in her early 20's. Home design and renovations were a mainstay as she and her husband bought and sold houses while raising their four kids along with foster parenting 84 children. Raising her kids in the country, just like she had been raised, was a goal Amy achieved when they bought 20 acres of land south of Northfield. She designed their vintage farmhouse at the ripe old age of 30. Time flies…all those kids are now adults and live all over the country.
For 20 years she has owned and directed HeartWork Studio, a local health and wellness company. At the same time she was often found staging, decorating, and designing houses for friends and family because her passion for curating unique and personal spaces ran so deep. She initially started selling real estate in 2006 and loved it. But the demands of raising kids and running another business found her needing to pause her real estate career for more than a decade. She missed the deeply fulfilling and fun process of working with people in buying and selling their homes and decided it was time to reignite that passion, and happily became a Realtor again.
As a real estate agent with buyers, her experience in finding the right home for her client and working with them until they are settled into that home is her forté. For those selling their home, she is there every step along the way, making everything understandable and manageable for her clients.
Amy says, "I cannot get enough of homes and spaces, and thrive in finding one that matches who you are right now. I enjoy getting to know people and love spending time assisting them as we walk through the process of buying or selling together."
